Demolition works – controlled, safe and on schedule
Kymecon carries out demolition works for buildings and industry as part of refurbishment and redevelopment projects. We demolish structures of every size using our modern equipment, including at operational industrial facilities, without costly production shutdowns.
Demanding demolition also succeeds at operational facilities
Kymecon has carried out demolition works for industrial, municipal and state client organisations since 1995. Demanding projects require technical planning, the right equipment and rigorous occupational safety management.
We always select the demolition method based on the constraints imposed by the site — dust, vibration and noise — and the size of the structure. We use modern methods that enable a precise, dust-free result even in sensitive environments.
The Grade 1 Concrete Works Supervisor qualification for mass-concrete structures is the highest possible certification in concrete works supervision.
Our demolition services
We select the demolition method based on the site constraints (dust, vibration, noise) and the structure’s size.
Remote-controlled demolition robots
We deploy electrically powered demolition robots for interior spaces and confined areas. The method is zero-emission, inherently safe and enables precise working even in applications requiring substantial breaking forces.
Diamond cutting (sawing and core drilling)
Used where vibration-free demolition and clean cut faces are required. Diamond sawing and core drilling are essential when adjacent structures must remain undamaged and intact.
Hydraulic impact breaking and pulverisation
Efficient demolition of large volumes using heavy plant. The optimal method for the demolition of buildings, industrial halls and foundations.
Demolition during lve operation – without a production shutdown
We also carry out demolition works during live operation at demanding sites and industrial facilities. Thanks to our modern demolition methods, you avoid the costly production shutdowns that demolition and refurbishment works can otherwise require. Careful planning, dust control and vibration-free execution allow production to continue right next to the demolition area.
Responsibility and circular economy
Large demolition contracts generate tonnes of concrete, steel, timber and other materials. Responsible demolition means that every material is handled and recycled with care, keeping mixed waste to a minimum.
1
Materials segregation
Concrete, steel, timber and other materials are separated on site for reuse. Sorting takes place systematically throughout the contract, not just at the end of the project.
2
Dust and vibration control
We use effective vacuum extraction and water suppression systems, together with vibration monitoring, so that no nuisance is caused to the surrounding area, residents or other parties.
3
Recycling
We send demolition concrete for crushing for use as civil engineering fill, steel for metal recycling, and timber for reuse.
